"The last 4th Generation Camaro has made its way down the assembly line. To some, the Camaro is just another car, but we all know it is a lot more. That car is the thread that binds all of us here together. If there was no Camaro, none of us would be here today. Most of us probably wouldn't even know each other. Events like the NEOCC Fall Classic are not just a gathering of cars; it is a gathering of people...Camaro people. There have been many Camaro owners, but only special people like yourselves have taken the Camaro and its heritage and made it a part of your lives. If this was your first show, you may not realize it, but you have changed. You are not just a Camaro owner anymore. You have joined the proud ranks of the Camaro people. You have met people and made friends during this weekend that will be a part of your lives forever. This year's show design on your plaques and t-shirts show the present car driving off into the sunset, signifying its departure. The car's license plate (CUL8R) represents our hope of its return. Until that day, it will be up to you Camaro people to keep its legend alive. Chevrolet says they'll be there. It wouldn't hurt for us to occasionally remind them that we, the Camaro people, will be here at gatherings like this, and WE WILL BE WAITING!!"
